Dimapur, Oct. 24 (EMN): The committee in charge of the reception of RN Ravi who had arrived in the state on Oct.23 to initiate dialogues with the Working group of the 6 Naga national political groups, has on Tuesday stated its gratefulness to all for the rousing reception that was accorded.
“On behalf of the Nagaland Tribes Council, Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation, Nagaland GB Federation, Central Nagaland Tribes Council and other CSOs, the Reception Committee would like to thank all the Apex Tribal Hohos, Tribal Union Chumukedima, Central Nagaland Tribes Students’ Union, Diphupar Naga Youth Organization, Village Councils, GBs and other CSOs, for their participation and support in making public reception of Shri. R. N. Ravi, Interlocutor of Naga political talk, GOI first ever talks in Naga soil at the airport and facilitation(sic) programme ... a grand success, “ stated a press release from the committee.
The press release appended by the Convenor Theja Therieh and Member Secretary Akhum Ayimg of the Public Reception Committee expressed its appreciation to the district administration an police and to all the individuals and organisations for extending their “services and logistic support”.

It further added that, “The Reception Committee is overwhelmed by the instant and arousing response of the public from all walks of life in expressing people’s solidarity and support to a new initiative of GOI taking political negotiation to higher levels.
