Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): Unity College IQAC women cell in collaboration with the State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW) has organised an awareness programme on Women Helpline Dial 181 (WHC) and Sakhi One Stop Centre on May 12 at the college seminar hall.
A press release from the college establishment on Tuesday informed that Bovili Chishi, case worker of one-stop centre; Nize Nagi, call responder of women helpline; and Zakato Chishi were the resource persons during the event.
According to the updates, Bovili Chishi lectured on various schemes for women affected by violence and the services rendered under those schemes. She spoke also on ‘Sakhi One Stop Centre’ in Dimapur and Kohima region.
The updates also mentioned that Zakato Chishi had shared information about the various forms of violence against women and children and also on the various constitutional and legal rights to protect women.
