[dropcap][/dropcap]Come December 17 and the state is set to witness eminent artists such as Nise Meruno, Alobo Naga, Moanungsang, Obed Kath (Divine Connection), Renbeni Odyuo, DJ Ina, Tetseo Sisters, Alo Wanth, UDX, Kevi Pucho (We the Giants), Toshinaro, Tali Angh, Temjen Jamir, (Polar Lights), Colored Keys, Diethozo & Vizho Thakro, Yanfo Kikon and Girls Excess coming together for a cause with the joy of giving to help raise funds for children in need. This was revealed at a press conference today at Dimapur.
With the objective to promote the idea of educational philanthropy and promote the culture of reading in Nagaland schools, Coffee for a Cause initiated by young entrepreneurs, students and artists together for a common cause is organizing an educational charity event, to help raise funds for sponsoring the education of children from Bright Morningstar Children Home, Kohima. At the same time with donations of books from well wishers it will help initiate a mini-school library for Life Foundation School, Chumukedima.
The event which will serve as a platform for likeminded people that want to make a difference in the field of education to come, meet and interact will be held at Niathu Resort, Dimapur on 17th December, 2014, from 4:30 PM onwards with a minimum ticket price of Rs.500 (admit one). All proceeds will go for the two goals of the event where children of Bright Morningstar Children Home, Kohima will be sponsored for their education for the academic session 2015.
The event is being hosted in collaboration and partnership with local businesses and eminent artists with Morung Express as the media partner and The Naga Blog and North East India International Model United Nations (NEIMUN) as the social network/mobilizing partner.

The team is also looking for people who maybe interested to donate books to initiate a small library in Life Foundation School, Chumukedima. The children in this school are between ages 4 to 18.
Any study materials (preferably non-academic) deemed appropriate, such as; dictionaries, encyclopedia, general knowledge books, atlas, story books/novels for children etc. are highly appreciated. We would especially love to request you to donate books, which will go towards building this library.
With a believe that education is the biggest catalyst for positive change we seek in the society, the teams goal is to see that one day every child gets the opportunity to attain an excellent education.
