- IMPHAL — A
7-member delegation of the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI)
will leave for New Delhi on Monday to attend a meet with officials of the
Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on May 27.
- Speaking to reporters at its office in Imphal, COCOMI
convenor informed that the decision to engage directly with the central
government was taken during a public convention. The move was temporarily
delayed due to the Pahalgam terror attack, but with the situation in Manipur
worsening, COCOMI has decided to proceed in line with the people’s mandate.
- The delegation is set to raise several pressing concerns
during the meeting.
