The Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has called a ‘black badge campaign’ on August 15 to show resentment against Centre’s imposition of ‘Disturbed Area Act’ in Nagaland.
This decision to hold the campaign was announced during a press conference at Lotha Hoho Ki, DC Court Junction.
Addressing the event, CNSA president Charles Lotha said, on seeing the popular demands of the Nagas of Nagaland, the association has resolved to campaign with an objective to convey a strong message to the central government.
He appealed to all tribal leaders, associations, unions and various organizations to cooperate by taking part in the campaign. The association president clarified that the campaign for the common cause for the people of Nagaland.
The campaign will not be a hindrance for citizens in anyway nor will it create any law and order situation but a peaceful one, he assured.
The campaign is to show resentment against Disturbed Area Act which will start in Dimapur with a black badge campaign on August 15.
