Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Career Club in Nagaland was formed at Eastern Christian Mission School Chizami on September 12 with 255 members. Career Club was formed in compliance with the resolution taken at the career conference organised by North East Career Club on September 8 held at Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Chizami.
It may be mentioned here that a resolution was taken by three schools namely Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Chizami; Eastern Christian Mission High School, Chizami; and Government High School, Chizami; at the career conference to form Career Club in their respective schools under the aegis of North East Career Club (NECC).
Guwahati based NECC is launching career club in schools, colleges and universities in the Northeast region to promote career development, promote employability, livelihood skills, job oriented vocations, career placement services.
NECC is collaborating with many national and international companies like Pearson Company, Bangalore, and I Dream Career, New Delhi, to promote career guidance programmes in the Northeast region. It is also negotiating with some national level agencies aiming to enrol every citizen in Northeast region. Presently, it has members from every state across the country.
NECC has invited every school, college, and university to form career club.
