DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has condoled the demise of Visasüle Metha, wife of Zakieo Metha, who passed away on June 25.
In a condolence note, Rio said that Visasüle was a loving person known to many as a prayerful and God-fearing mother, wife and grandmother who always taught her children to be kind, hardworking and humble.
“She was a loving and supportive wife who stood by her husband through thick and thin,” it read, adding that she never had reservations but was always ready to help anyone in need.
“In this hour of grief, my family joins me in conveying our deepest condolences to the bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may Almighty God give you comfort and courage to bear the irreparable loss,” said Rio, and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
