Dimapur, October 26: Chief Minister TR Zeliang, NPCC president K Therie, NPF Minority Wing, Parliamentary Secretary Er. Picto Shohe and MLA & Chairman NIDC Ltd. Tovihoto Ayemi have condoled the death of Hukato Naga, proprietor and CMD of HN Company, who passed away at Nottingham city, England on October 25.Conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, they prayed to grant them solace and comfort at this hour of sorrow and for the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said late Hukato was one of the most prominent businessmen and entrepreneurs among the Nagas who struggled very hard to become successful at a crucial period.
In his death Nagas have lost one of the finest personalities in the business profession, Zeliang said.
Expressing grief at his death, NPCC president K Therie said late Hukato, brother of Hukiye Tissica, member, PCC, Aughanato constituency, was a very hard working entrepreneur who reached such a level of success only because of his hard work and dedication. Naga Peoples Front Minority Wing has expressed pain at his sudden demise. President of the NPF wing Bishnu Bhattacharjee said late Hukato was a renowned businessman who has lots of contributions to society.
Parliamentary Secretary Er. Picto Shohe said the Naga people have lost a tall figure. “It is a loss not only to his family but entire Sumis in particular and Naga community in general,” he said.
MLA & Chairman NIDC Ltd. Tovihoto Ayemi said late Hukato was a true lover of peace, unity and reconciliation. His admirable simplicity and efforts to work for peace and reconciliation among the Nagas can be visibly reflected when he hosted the meeting among the different Naga political groups under FNR on September 18, 2010 at his residence in Dimapur, Tovihoto said.
