CM Neiphiu Rio mourns the passing of former Health Director Dr. Visasieü Yiese, remembering her as a dedicated pediatrician.

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Visasieü Yiese, neè Kire (Kobunuo), former director of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, who passed away on Wednesday at Eden Medical Centre, Dimapur.
In a condolence message, Rio described Dr. Kobunuo as one of the seniormost Naga paediatricians, who diligently executed her duties with strong work ethics.
He stated that she was a competent officer who served the state government in various capacities with passion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the healthcare sector.

The chief minister noted that she was known to be a resilient and courageous woman who stood firm in her beliefs and was kind and helpful to those in need. Her compassion and empathy towards her patients, particularly children, earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and the community.
Rio stated that her passing is a great loss to Naga society, the medical fraternity, and the Angami community. Conveying condolences to the bereaved family members, he prayed that the departed soul would rest in eternal peace.
