Dimapur, Oct. 18 (EMN): The Chief Minister TR Zeliang on Wednesday extended warm greetings and good wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali.
"I, on behalf of the Government of Nagaland extend warm greetings and good wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights," stated the chief minister.
He also appealed to show love and mutual respect to one another as one celebrate the festival of joy and also appealed to shoulder one's responsibility as good citizens to protect the environment from all types of pollutions.
He added that India being a country of pluralism and diversity, it respects all communities with different religious customs and traditions.
"May this day bringpeace, joy and prosperity to every home and society in the State," he further stated.
