CM conveys R-Day greetings

Dimapur, Jan. 25 (EMN):  State Chief Minister TR Zeliang has greeted the people on the occasion of the 69th Republic Day celebration of the country and wished that the celebration would bring happiness, peace and prosperity to every household. The chief minister reminded that on this day, India became an independent republic and the Constitution of India came into effect with the declaration that India is sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring its citizens of justice, equality and liberty, and endeavours to promote fraternity among them. On the occasion, he appealed the people to remember the sacrifices and contributions of the founding fathers and great leaders of the country.
