Dimapur, April 6 (EMN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed pain at the untimely demise of Dr. Neitsalie Zhasa, who passed away on April 6 after an illness.
Rio said Zhasa was the former principal chief Conservator of Forest, Government of Arunachal Pradesh and principal secretary of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Nagaland.
CM described Zhasa as an efficient officer, who always carried out his responsibilities with dedication and sincere commitment.
“I knew him as an honest person who stood by his principles and he always executed his responsibilities with utmost integrity,” Rio said.
Rio regretted that his demise is a loss for the society as he still had a lot to contribute with his vast knowledge and experience. Chief minister conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
