Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): The 25th edition of Classic Cup 2019 football tournament will be held from November 4 at Khuochiezie local ground in Kohima, announced Khriephrelie Phewhuo, secretary of the tournament through a statement on Tuesday.
In continuation of the silver jubilee celebration, the prize money for this year’s tournament has been increased to INR 3 lakh and 2 lakh respectively for the champions and runners-up respectively, while the two semi-finallists will walk away with cash prize of INR 50,000 each. The statement informed that cash prizes will also be given in individual categories.
Entry forms will be available starting October 14 at M/s Sports World, old taxi stand main town; M/s Vaude Ville Hardware at Dzuvuru, opposite Belho Gas Agency, Kohima; and M/s Global Sports at Dr. KK Angami complex, Midland Kohima. Last date for submission of entry forms is October 28 at 4 pm.
