Class-wise video lessons to be available in pen drives

Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): The directorate of School Education has informed that class-wise video lessons broadcasted through Doordarshan, YouTube and facebook by the department from May 1 to July 30 will be made available in pen drives at the rate given below.

Interested private schools, parents and students have been asked place an order by paying the above mentioned amount through the ‘order products’ link given at the department’s online education portal (https://dosenl.in) from August 7 to the 16th.

The video loaded pen drives will be delivered through respective schools from the second week of September. The department will issue pen drives of lessons of all classes to each government school separately. Delivery may get delayed depending on lockdown situations, it informed.

Online essay competition for students

The directorate of School Education has notified that the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), government of India is conducting an online essay competition for secondary and senior secondary students (Class 9 to 12) on the theme 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat - Swatantra Bharat', which envisions the emergence of a robust and strong nation committed to the welfare of all.

Prizes will be given to national-level winners and certificates of participation will be jointly issued to all participants by NCERT and MyGov.

Heads of all high and higher secondary schools have been hereby directed to encourage participation of maximum students from their schools and guide them for submitting the entries before 11:59 pm on August 14. Students have been advised to visit ( www.MyGov.in) for more details and submission of entries. List of subjects as sub-categories under the theme are given in the annexure.
