[dropcap]A[/dropcap] propos to the article on “an open letter to the chairman, DPDB, Phek” written by one Rayi Vadeo which were published in the local media on 21st and 26th April 2015. This is to clarify to the writer and readers concern that the District Planning and Development Board in its meeting of August 2014 had resolved that DPDB meeting will be held in all the Sub-Division of the District. Accordingly, DPDB meetings were held in(1) Pfutsero – September 2014,
(2) Chizami – October 2014
(3) Chozuba (Chokriba) – November 2014 and
(4) Meluri (Tekumle) – April 2015.
In all the above said meetings, Public Leaders from the areas were invited to attend the meetings. During the meeting proposals/agendas received from the respective Sub-Divisions were discussed and recommended to the Govt. for consideration.
The above facts may be verified from the DPDB minutes of the said months by any one including Rayi Vadeo from the office of the undersigned.
Agendas/Proposals were not received from other Sub-Division during April 2015 DPDB meeting hence it was not discussed.
Therefore, the wild allegation leveled against our leader Shri Yitachu Honorable Chairman DPDB Phek, terming his action as “arrogant, narrow minded, tribalism” were unfounded and baseless.
