Dimapur, Sep. 13 (EMN): Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, CL John has expressed shock over the demise of Ex. Minister, N Yeangphong Konyak, on September 12.
In a condolence message, CL John stated that Konyak, had represented 41 Tizit Assembly Constituency and served in various capacity with variety of portfolios under NLA. Prior to his entering into active politics, he had served in the state government, political parties and non-governmental organization under different capacities.
During his short span of life, he was proved, undoubtedly one of the sincere, hardworking and bonafide citizens and one of competent public leaders in his own capacity with integrity and vast wisdom, John stated. He also expressed that it would be difficult to fill the vacuum caused by his premature death and his service to the Konyak community in particular and to Nagas in general. His untiring voluntary services to society and individual will be heartily remembered by one and all, the message added.
CL John shared deepest sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved family in this hour of grief, and pray that Almighty God to grant peace and solace to the departed soul.
NIDC: The Nagaland Industrial Development Cooperation (NIDC) Limited has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Ex-Chairman NIDC, N Yeangphong Konyak, on September 12.
