Kohima, March 11 (EMN): The annual Cross Country Race of Christ King Higher Secondary School (CKHSS), Kohima was held on Saturday, March 11. With an urgent feeling for peace in our society, the race was held under the theme "Run for peace and harmony". The race is part of the co-curricular activities that takes place along the year to help the students have a full round development. Despite the rain, participants numbering around 400 turned up for the race. The flag off was from the school ground and the route taken was school ground via Mission compound via Razhü point via Tinpati junction via DBS junction, with the finishing point at the school ground. The students were divided into four houses, Blue, Green, Red and Yellow respectively. Fr Linus, the principal of the school invoked God's blessings and flagged off the race. Boys- Kekuosetuo (Blue House)
Girls- Mhalesanuo (Green House)
All the winners and participants reaching the finishing point were awarded with points which will be carried forward to be added during annual sports week to be held soon.
