Civic cleanliness group completes 2 years

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, April 1: A civic action group called the ‘Team Clean Dimapur’ celebrated its second foundation day, on April 1 at the Lotha Hoho Ki in Dimapur. Dimapur Municipal Council’s (DMC) administrator Moa Sangtam congratulated the team for achieving a milestone in its work toward a clean environment and cleaner Dimapur. Sangtam said that the group had been the first to initiate and mobilise community participation. “Let this team be a team to sustain,” Sangtam said, urging the team to strive towards their goals. He urged the group to look forward to ‘better years ahead by working together.’ The vice president of Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation (DUCFF) Z Kapfo also congratulated the team. He asked them to uphold their motto “Towards a cleaner and greener Dimapur”. An activity report of the TCD was also presented by a member Jenbu Rongmei. He highlighted the activities and contribution the group has made to the mission over the years.
