Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): The Team Clean Dimapur conducted ‘walk for clean Dimapur’ in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) to commemorate its first foundation day from PWD junction to Super Market on March 31.
A press note was received from the organisers on Tuesday informed that the marched was aimed at creating awareness among the citizens, to keep their surroundings clean and healthy.
Students from various schools and colleges, the civil societies in the city participated.
The Naga Council Dimapur, Naga Women Hoho Dimapur, Dimapur District Citizens Forum, Dimapur Urban Chairmen Council Forum, Muslim Council Dimapur, teacher-in-charge of Dimapur Govt.College, Ramjanaki Higher Secondary School, Ebenezer Orphanage Home were some of the guest speakers.
