Dimapur, March 20 (EMN): Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) has inaugurated a new dermatology out-patient department (OPD) on March 18.
CIHSR director, Dr. Sedevi Angami, officiated the inauguration, while the head of department, Dr. Leishiwon Kumrah spoke on the services provided by the institute.
The institute press release stated that the department of dermatology has been functioning since November 2007. The release stated that the department has been a pioneer in the field of laser, botox and dermal fillers within the state housing three different types of laser with the state of the art fractional CO 2 laser as the latest addition.
The department has taken keen interest in keeping abreast with the latest updates and has presented papers in various national and international conferences, the release said. It added that cosmetological services such as platelet rich plasma with micro-needling (vampire facial), thread lifts and carbon laser facial are planned to be introduced.
