Dimapur, July 30 (EMN): Officials at Central Institute of Hindi (CIH), Agra, have expressed readiness to support and promote Hindi language in the state.
CIH director, NK Pandey, and the registrar, Bina Sharma, have conveyed this to the president of All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Rometo Sema and the advisor Hezheto Chishi, during a meeting in the former’s office chamber on July 24.
In a joint press release, the union president and the advisor stated that they had discussed on the issue of about 800 untrained Hindi teachers in Nagaland. The officials had also discussed on the development and progress of Hindi language in the state.
The release stated that the director had expressed readiness to extend his support for the promotion of Hindi language in the state.
He assured to give his best for the development of Hindi language in the state through CIH Agra as far as possible.
However, he advised the ANHTU officials to route through the state government by writing to the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), New Delhi, for taking up right steps in the larger interest of the public.
