Dimapur, Jan. 9 (EMN): The Chümoukedima Students’ Union (CKK) held its 1st general conference at Chümoukedima village on the Jan. 9 under the theme “Carpe Diem.” Chümoukedima Village Council Chairman Razouvotuo Chatsu was the chief guest of the event.
Speaking on the topic ‘seize the opportunity,’ the chief guest is stated to have encouraged the young generations to boldly pursue their dreams by taking advantage of the privileges and facilities that are available for them. Citing that in the past pursuing basic education was a struggle, he advised the students to avail the opportunity and excel.
Chatsu also said to have express concern “on the trend of young Naga generations who have failed to inculcate the traits of honesty and hard-work.”
Medo Medoze, Kezhalelhou Shüya, Peter Shüya, and Rüüvilhou Kuotsu exhorted the gathering.
The programme was chaired by Sedevikho Tsükru, Sazo Kire invoked God’s blessing, while Viyiesilhou Medoze delivered welcome note and vote of thanks was proposed by Thepfukuolie Kuotsu. A special number was presented by CRC youth dept and CMD town.
The event also featured various competitions and display of young talents in entertainment and music.
