Chümoukedima Hindu Society felicitates meritorious students

DIMAPUR —  Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS), in association with Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland (CHYC) felicitated meritorious HSLC students during a programme held on June 25 at Hotel Seasons, 7th Mile.

An update from CHS stated that three HSLC toppers from Little Flower High School namely Sneha Das (top 3), Thiemboi Chongloi (top 8) and Vileno Kin (top 15) were presented with certificate of achievements, gift items and chocolates.

The special guest of the event, Mahesh Kotecha, who is also the treasurer of BJP Nagaland and president of Gujarati Samaj Dimapur, congratulated the toppers and stressed on the need to work harder to achieve their goals. He further thanked the parents for their constant guide, which resulted in achieving such impressive scores.

CHS general secretary, Prakash Chetri, congratulated all the achievers and expressed happiness for bringing laurels to their parents, school and to the society in general. He advised the students to be more responsible and disciplined to move ahead in their lives.

He also stressed on the significant role of the parents for good upbringing of their children. He added that being obedient to parents and shouldering one’s own responsibilities are the path to progress.

CHS working president, Pintu M Ghosh, has highlighted on the role of the organisation and its activities. He exhorted the students to work hard and make their parents proud with such achievements in the future.

CHS treasurer, Sujit Ranjan Dey, also encouraged the achievers to maintain consistency to take forward their success to a new horizon and to become assets for the family, community and society in general. He further added that the students need to be prepared to meet more challenges and compete with zeal and high spirit.
