DIMAPUR — Chumoukedima clinched the Senior Men’s Inter-District Tournament 2026 title with a commanding six-wicket victory over Dimapur in the final at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Opting to field first, Chumoukedima produced a clinical bowling performance to bundle out Dimapur for a modest 80 in 25.1 overs. Despite a fighting 26 off 34 balls from Shamphri Terang, Dimapur struggled to build partnerships against a disciplined attack.
Neizekho Rupreo led the charge with an impressive spell of 4/16 in 7.1 overs, earning the Player of the Match award. He was well supported by Imliwati (3/15) and Ravi Kumar Ram (2/36) as Chumoukedima kept tight control throughout the innings.
In reply, Chumoukedima chased down the target comfortably, reaching 85/4 in 17.1 overs. Jonathan Rongsen top-scored with a brisk 27 off 21 deliveries, while Aloto Sumi added 23 off 19 to guide the side home without any major setbacks.

For Dimapur, Hopongkyu Sangtam (2/23) and Sundram Gupta (2/12) picked up wickets, but the low total offered little resistance.
Chumoukedima’s all-round dominance in the final capped an impressive campaign, underlining their strength across departments.
Imliwati Lemtur was named Player of the Tournament as well as Best Bowler, while Aloto Sumi bagged the Best Batsman award. Yugandhar Singh was adjudged Best Wicketkeeper.
