The second day of Hornbill International Music Festival (HIMF) of 2018, which was dedicated to praise and worship, and titled Praise Sunday, was an evening of Christian music during which various Christian bands performed. Beyond Sunday, Power Faith, Jack Pucho and the Warehouse, and Tali Angh performed for the crowd.
Praise Sunday is an evening of Christian music performed by artists from the state. It was first introduced by LiveNow Events during the festival’s 2017 edition to provide a platform to talented Christian music bands and solo artistes. The proceeds and money that are collected during Praise Sunday will be donated as charity, an act of the Hornbill event giving back to the community.
The concert on Sunday attracted an audience including people from other church denominations.
The crowd at the Agri Expo in Dimapur, where the concert was, was treated to an unforgettable experience.
Local rockers Lords of Rock’s frontman Clement Imsong, the host for the HIMF, promised the crowd that the festival will only get better and better.
Another key attraction that is being held for the first time as part of the festival is the ‘The Great Hornbill Guitar Jamboree’ featuring some of top guitarists from the state. The guitar event will be on Mon. Dec. 3.
