Kohima, Jan. 8 (EMN): The Chozuba Area Sports Association (CASA) 48th meet got underway at Chozuba town on Tue. Jan. 8 with Member of legislative Assembly, Dr. Chotisuh Sazo as the special guest of the event.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Chotisuh Sazo said no government will be able to give government job to all its youth.
Stating that Nagas have to change the attitude that govt. job alone is the only job. He added "we have to venture out"
Sazo urged the gathering to excel in their respective fields. He said that the "society is living in a potpourri of cultures which are of negative." He lamented that today's youth have to learn those "negative and destructive culture" and blamed the social media and the internet for that.
He further reminded the youths to adopt the "good work culture" of the forefathers including self reliance, sense of belonging, social responsibility, hard work and the nature of cooperative.
Encouraging the players to play good sport, Sazo asked them to exhibit their skills. Adding that, he said "a good player is who can accept both defeat and victory with smile and grace."
The five-day long sports meet will conclude on Jan. 12. The sports meet includes football, volleyball, basketball for games including track events and field events.
