Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): The 6th general session of the Chokri Chakhesang Literature Board (CCLB) was held on May 11 in the conference hall of the Red Cross Building, Kohima, with Zhovehu Lohe, convenor of advisory board, as the session speaker.
Addressing the gathering, Lohe stressed on the importance of maintaining personal integrity to lead the people. He stated that a leader, in the present context, should be practical and added that a theorist should never be allowed to rule the society.
Emphasising on the importance of wisdom in one’s live to lead its people, he expressed apprehension that limited human knowledge might lead to a danger situation. He urged the gathering to be prepared to face such challenges in future.
The board’s incoming publicity and information secretary, Kuzhovesa Soho, stated that its advisory board members namely Shetsieyi Ruho and Zapra Chakhesang also spoke during the session.
Reports were presented by general secretary (Admn) Dr. Zhokho Venuh and the treasurer Pusazo Venyo.
A new team of office bearers was installed for the tenure 2019-2022 and was announced by the search committee member, Vezuhu Keyho. Rev. Dr. Thupuo Nyekha administered the act of blessings to the new team headed by Ariyi Nienu as chairman.
The other office bearers included Pungotso Dzudo as
vice chairman, Vethikhoyi Khamo as general secretary (Admn), Vechisa Venuh as general secretary (Techn), Vezhoduyi Thisa as finance secretary, Pusazo Venyo as treasurer, Vekhosa Nakro as joint secretary, Kuzhovesa Soho as information and publicity secretary, Vesavolu Rhakho as assistant secretary, Neino Lohe as text book production in-charge.
Advisory board comprised of Zhovehu Lohe as convenor along with Zapra Chakhesang, Shetsieyi Ruho and Er. Shevotso Nienu as members.
