DIMAPUR — The Poumai Baptist Church, Chümoukedima, organised a four-day youth camp at The Refuge Retreat Centre, Murise Village in Chümoukedima district from August 14 to the 17th.
Focused on empowering the youth spiritually to overcome life’s challenges with faith in God, resource persons Rev. Dr. P. James and Rev. Prof. Dr. Woba James led the sessions on ‘Sins and its Consequences’, ‘Breaking Through Fear and Insecurity’, ‘End Times (Eschatology),’ and ‘Breaking Through into Purpose’.
The event was marked by various activities, including ice breaking sessions, praise and worship, as well as indoor and outdoor games, helping many youth experience personal breakthroughs, overcoming challenges and committing to change and dedicate themselves to God.

In a moving gesture, the leaders of the church washed the feet of 131 youth who attended the camp to worship, learn and transform.
Two inspiring speakers -- H. Alpha Pou and R. Thaizii Duo -- also shared their testimonies- about their experiences and how they overcame obstacles in their lives.
The camp concluded on Sunday, with the youth leading the church service and worship.
