On developmental planning, the advisor stated that development initiatives should cover the entire Chümoukedima district and not remain concentrated in only one area. Referring to the existing railway station at Sukhovi, he stated that strategic planning and organised development must begin now in preparation for future growth.
He further stressed the need to develop the district in a more systematic and organised manner to ensure balanced infrastructure expansion and long-term urban planning across all areas.
The Police department was also directed to strictly regulate and enforce speed limits to ensure road safety and prevent accidents across the district.
The advisor underlined the need for regular monitoring, awareness campaigns, and coordinated enforcement measures, particularly in accident-prone and crowded areas.
Among the agendas discussed during the meeting was the recognition of Cinnamon Pre-School located in Ward-II, Chümoukedima. Under society registration, the proposal for the registration of Yimkhiung Baptist Borü-Naga United Village was also placed before the board for consideration.
