DIMAPUR — A
warm-up match between Dimapur and Chümoukedima was held at the Chümoukedima
Town Council ground on Saturday, ahead of the U-16 District Tournament.
According to an update, Dimapur won the toss and chose to
bat first, posting a total of 147/10. Key contributions came from Shiva (33 off
29) and Rahul (19 off 17). Chümoukedima’s bowlers, Aloto and Kumar, shone with
the ball, taking 4 and 3 wickets, respectively.
In the chase, Chümoukedima reached the target with a score
of 149/6, led by a brilliant 76 off 41 balls from Aloto. Despite Dimapur’s
Rahul taking 2 wickets, they couldn’t turn the game around.
