DIMAPUR — The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) ushered in a new era of leadership on Thursday, electing its executive council for the 2024-2027 term. The election took place during the ENPO general session held at the Town Hall in Tuensang.

A Chingmak Chang was elected as president, succeeding outgoing president R. Tsapikiu Sangtam, while Honang Konyak assumed the role of general secretary, and Khehoto Yepthomi Sumi took charge as finance secretary.

The remaining executive council positions, including vice presidents, joint secretaries, finance committee members, treasurers, and correspondence secretaries, will be filled based on tribal recommendations in a subsequent selection process. The formal handover of responsibilities will take place after these remaining positions are filled.
