
Dimapur, Sep. 18 (EMN): Chingkela Sangtam was crowned “Miss Kiphire 2022” at an event held at Kiphire local ground. The show was organised by MERAKI entertainment after a gap of 15 years, an update stated.
Chingkela Sangtam walked away with a cash prize of INR 50,000 along with gift hampers. Pisala Sangtam won the 1st runner-up title and a cash prize of INR 30,000 with gift hampers. The 2nd runner-up title was won by Azila Sangtam with a cash prize of INR 20,000 along with gift hampers.
Lisu Care Pure and Natural sponsored all the gift hampers for the winners and subtitle winners, it said.
Sanjeev Tamang groomed, mentored and choreographed the event, while Ralan Patton was the contestant manager.
14 contestants competed in three different rounds namely modern ethnic wear round, casual round and evening gown round.
The event was hosted by Imnasenla Rachel and Tsase Annar. Moko Koza performed as a guest artiste, while local artistes -- Khulong Sangtam, Tsasela and Modern girls -- performed during the show. Dreamz Unlimited also made a guest appearance.
The designer for the event was IWSN training Centre Dimapur. The panel of three judges Lovi Awomi VLCC Femina Miss India Nagaland 2022; Likhumla, Vice President, Ladies Club Kiphire and Longtise, Asst. Professor ZPGC Kiphire.
The sub-title winners were Thingpila Sangtam for best ethic wear; Seola Sangtam for best walk; Chingkela Sangtam best model; Azila Sangtam Miss Popularity; Leishnao Tikhir Miss Personality; Thingpila Sangtam Miss Multimedia; and Seola Sangtam Viewers Choice.
