Children summer camp begins in Kma

[caption id="attachment_192288" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Children learning paper craft during creativity session during children summer camp at CAN building on Friday in Kohima.[/caption] Kohima, June 29 (EMN): A two-day children’s summer camp under the theme ‘You are the light of the world (Mt. 5:14),’ has commenced at St. Francis de Sales (SFS) Parish on Friday June 29 at the building of Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) in Kohima. The camp, being organised by SFS, is divided into three categories - classes A to 3, classes 4 to 7 and classes 8 to 12. Each category has four group divisions namely Mark, Mathew, Luke and John. On the first day, the campers attended mass, singspiration service and participated in various games. Practical and creativity sessions were also conducted including games, doll making, paper craft, learning computer peripherals etc. Rev. Fr. Peter Pithungo, assistant parish priest of SFS, parish priest Rev. Fr.Fernandes and Teisovi Gerard Meyase spoke were the main speakers of the theme on Friday. Around three-hundred children enrolled on first day.
