
DIMAPUR — Children School held its Literary Day 2024 on Tuesday with the theme ‘Excelsior’. The event featured an array of activities involving students from nursery through Class 10 at Aongza Ki (Aongza Ward Council building), Mokokchung.
Speaking on the occasion, headmistress Toshimenla encouraged the children to recognise that their voices matter and their stories deserve to be told. She urged them to cherish the power of words, celebrate the magic of language, and acknowledge their literary talents, according to a press release.
The event featured a prepared speech competition, in which Ameer and Rongsentula of Class 10 were declared winners. In the spelling bee competition (Ao vocabulary), Imnasenla and Talisen, both of Class 7, were named winners.
