Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): The District Childline Advisory Board (DCAB) conducted a meeting on April 23 at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall in Dimapur.
A press note from the DCAB informed on Monday that a meeting was conducted to discuss about the safety of children. The agendas included appointment of rescue team under district task force on child labour; to initiate “Child Friendly School” campaign; creation of child protection database in collaboration with Dimapur police; incorporation of CHILDLINE weblink and komal film on child sexual abuse in Dimapur district official website; and to conduct medical camps in vulnerable areas for children in collaboration with the chief medical officer of Dimapur.
According to the updates, the meeting also deliberated about the role of different departments and stakeholders to implement initiatives and programmes in various capacities in collaboration with CHILDLINE Dimapur.
