North Garo Hills (Meghalaya), June 11, (EMN): A child was abducted from Dong-khong under the Dainadubi police station in North Garo Hills bordering Goalpara in Assam.
Miscreants who introduced themselves as members of a Garo organization kidnapped the child identified as Nikgam Sangsowat D Sangma son of Indeswal R Sangma.
DY365 Bureau reports stated the miscreants threatened the parents of the child to kill all of them if they don’t hand over Sangma’s car. The family subsequently agreed to hand over the car. But during this, three miscreants forced their entry into the house of Sangma and kidnapped his son.
Meghalaya police have recovered the AS16 6666 Alto car in lower Deori Para on Friday but failed to find the child.
Further the reports stated till date the militants have not made any ransom call to the child’s parents. Sangma and his wife are requesting the militants to release their child immediately without any conditions.
