Dimapur, March 22 (EMN): To review various steps and measures being taken to prevent and contain the spread of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) as well as on the overall preparedness of the entire state, state chief secretary has convened a meeting on March 23 in the secretariat conference hall at 1 pm.
A DIPR report stated that Sanjay Kumar, additional secretary and financial advisor of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI, who has been appointed by the Government of India as nodal officer for Nagaland for effective coordination and management of novel coronavirus (Covid-19), would be present in the meeting.
The chief secretary has requested the following officials consisting of additional chief secretary and development commissioner; director-general of police; principal secretary and commissioner; principal secretary of IPR; principal secretary of Urban Development/ Municipal Affairs department; Renchamo P Kikon, ADGP (L&O) and SAG member; commissioner and secretary of Rural Development department; secretary of NSDMA; secretary of Health and Family Welfare department; Shanavas C, principal director of School Education and SAG member; Dr. Vizolie Suokhrie, principal director of Health and Family Welfare and SAG member; Asano, chairperson of NBSE and SAG member; Limawati Ao, director of IPR and SAG member; director of RD department; director of Urban Development department; director of Municipal Affairs department; Elizabeth Ngully, joint secretary of UD and SAG member;
Polan John, joint secretary of Rural Development and SAG member; M Rollan Lotha, COO of NSRLM and SAG member; and Johnny Rongmei, OSD of NSDMA and SAG member.
