DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio visited
the Konyak Heritage Site at Mon on Monday.
An update from the DIPR informed that the chief minister was
accompanied by Minister of Forests, Environment & Climate Change and
Village Guard, CL John, and President of NDDP, Chingwang Konyak.
Speaking to the gathering, Rio expressed gratitude to all
“for bringing up the works thus far.”
He reminded that unity and cooperation are essential for
development in any society and urged the public to extend their support and
cooperation towards the project.
“He emphasised quality control to carry out the work
properly and complete it on time and reminded the concerned departments for
electricity and water supply connectivity in the Heritage Site. Rio also
informed that all the constructions will be completed within two months and is
expected to be inaugurated in the first week of April 2025,” it stated.
