a former chief engineer, who passed away on Monday in Kohima.

possessed a pleasant disposition and a generous heart. A steadfast and devoted
husband, loving father, and doting grandfather to his 11 grandchildren.
- “He was a caring and loving father-in-law to my daughter. He
embodied the virtues of simplicity, integrity, and diligence. As a government
servant, he served with unwavering dedication, ever committed to the
responsibilities entrusted to him. Even after his retirement, he remained an
active and invaluable contributor to society, working in various capacities for
the greater good,” Rio stated in a condolence message.

the promotion and preservation of the rich Naga traditions, particularly Naga
wrestling, are a testament to his love for Naga heritage.

generations to come.

Nagas as a whole, have lost a guardian and a guiding light. The void left by
his departure is immeasurable, yet his deeds and sacrifices shall remain etched
in our hearts. May his legacy continue to inspire and uplift those who walk the
path he so honourably tread,” the message read.
- He offered condolences to the bereaved family members.
