Chief commr. of rly safety holds meeting with NFR officials

Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): The Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS) / NF Circle under Ministry of Civil Aviation, government of India, Sailesh Kumar Pathak, held a meeting with senior NFR officials at Maligaon on August 28. This was stated in an update by the chief public relations officer of NFR. During the meeting, various parameters of safe train operations were elaborately discussed and various measures were also suggested by the CCRS. Reasons for various types of accidents that occurred recently in Indian Railways were also discussed by the CCRS. The meeting assumes significance in view of the fact that, railway electrification work and various types of developmental work is going on in full swing; which will increase the average train running speed throughout NF Railway. A small presentation on various measures being taken by NFR to ensure safety was also shown during the meeting by the Principal Chief Safety Officer/NF Railway MK Agrawal.
