DIMAPUR, MAY 19: Monthly meeting of Sub-Divisional Departmental Coordination Forum under Changtongya sub-division was held yesterday at Community Health Centre Changtongya under the chairmanship of SDO (C) Changtongya, Chumlamo Humtsoe.
Reviewing the last meeting minutes the chairman requested the Electrical Department for the maintenance of the street lights at police point for the convenience of the public. The chairman informed the house that the second inter-departmental football tournament under the sub-division will be held from May 23 to June 4. He called upon all heads of offices to extend their cooperation for the success of the tournament as it is been organized by the SDDCF.
A DIPR report said the house also discussed about the withdrawal of government employee salaries from the SBI Branch Changtongya for those department that are withdrawing their salaries at present from Sub-Treasury Changtongya. The house entrusted the chairman to look in to the matter.
A brief report on the facilities available and different activities carried out at the Community Health Centre was delivered by MO Ayush, Dr. Wapang. SMO CHC Dr. Imtijungshi Aier also highlighted the grievances and requirement at the hospital. Besides the need to repair the road to the CHC. R.C. Chiten Jamir Memorial GHS Changtongya headquarter, N. Temsunungsang also highlighted about the bad road condition and requested the concerned department to repair and maintenance of the potholes and the drainage till the school. The chairman requested EE (PWD) to tie up with SMO CHC and Headmaster GHS to look into their grievances at the earliest and to extend whatever possible help for the repair and maintenance of the road.
