Dimapur, Feb. 4 (EMN): With an aim to provide basic medical aid, Changland Battalion of Assam Rifles under HQ IGAR (North) conducted a medical camp at Yukhi village, Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh on Feb. 2.
During the medical camp, lectures were conducted on lifestyle related diseases, Omicron variant of Covid -19 and protocols to prevent the spread of the virus, a defence release informed.
A total of 153 villagers were screened and administered necessary medicine and advice. The local population expressed gratitude to AR for conducting medical camp in the remote villages for the welfare of the people.
