Venture Wings Society Jakhama today lifted the champion’s title of Challenger Cup 2014 - 6th Women Open Basketball Championship organised by Youth Aflame Kohima at Local Ground.
Playing the final match, Venture Wings Society Jakhama defeated Josephites by 21-8.
Mezhuvotuo won the three-pointers competition, which was held before the women’s final.Gracing the women’s final as guest of honour, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland, Sentimeren gave away the awards.
Meanwhile, in the second men’s semi-final, Taurus defeated Cretan Bulls by 57-40. Taurus will now clash with Amplified for title of 10th men Open Basketball.
