DIMAPUR — The two-day annual sports meet 2026 of the Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CYO) Group-C commenced at Tsüüma village in Chümoukedima on Monday.
Meguo Ratsa, PA to the Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, attended the event as the special guest, stated an update.
On the first day, 43 wrestlers competed in the Naga wrestling event in the Senior and Under-15 categories.
In the Senior category, Khrietuo Khwukha emerged as the champion, while Kikrukhrielie Kehie, Terhüjavi Terhüja, and Mesalhouvi Kuotsu stood in the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
Krovi Seyie bagged the champion title in the Under-15 category, while Keviser Kuotsu, Lhouvizo Kehie, and Rokolhoulie Meyase secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
Altogether, 18 wrestlers were selected to represent the CYO Group-C in the forthcoming wrestling meet of the Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CYO), to be held on February 5 at Chümoukedima town.
Volleyball for men and women will be held on January 13.
