DIMAPUR — The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has extended appreciation to the Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) for its “responsible and dignified action in reaffirming the authenticity of Naga identity.”
In a press release, the CPO particularly lauded the proactive steps taken in addressing the matter concerning Shiva Narayan Choudhary, son of Sikandar Choudhury, resident of Purana Bazar, Dimapur, who had previously used the name and title S Tovishe Yepthomi despite not being of Naga heritage.
The organisation also appreciated Shiva Narayan Choudhury for his honesty and courage in correcting his identification, and now “rightfully presenting himself with his real name and title.”
