Chakhesang women organise seminar

Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): Chakhesang Churches Women Combined Fellowship (CCWCF) conducted a one-day seminar on July 27 at Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister’s Hill Kohima (CBCMH). Resource person and District Public Relation Officer (retired) Neikhwepeü Khalo emphasised on human rather than material development and the need for ethnic identity. Khriehuzo Lohe, CWC chairperson, enlightened the participants on “Child right awareness.” He stated that every child has equal rights adding for any grievances one could call the Child helpline – 1098. Neikoloü Mero encouraged the participants to promote daily exercise, eat healthy organic food, and encouraged on local entrepreneurship. Altogether, 302 women from different churches attended the seminar. The programme ended with a benediction said by Nokholü Luruo. The two sessions were chaired by Vetalü Nienu, convenor CCWCF, and Wezopeü Elah.
