[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he 6th “triennial general session” of the Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) is scheduled to be conducted in Phek town hall from May 30. The event will culminate on April 1. Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Kuzholuzo Nienu will be the chief guest of the event and Deputy Commissioner of Phek Murohu Chotso will be guest of honor.According to a note issued by the CMA on Wednesday, the highlights of the event include instating a new team of CMA leaders for the tenure 2015-2018, adoption and approval of the association’s constitution, presentation of unit activity reports, and entertainment items.
A sum of Rs. 150 will be realized from every delegate as registration fee. Unit leaders are told to submit their flags on the day of arrival to the event. The association has requested every unit to send at least five representatives and that they are to arrange necessary accommodations and other need on their own.
Chairpersons of all the women organizations, women village development board secretaries, and women pastors irrespective of denominations are invited to the event. It is mandatory that all delegates should dress in traditional attires while attending the session, the association said.
The CMA invited all frontal organizations, officers from the Chakhesang community, heads of departments from the district headquarters, and well wishers to participate in the event.
