It will not be wrong to say that Nagas’ Political Solution is arriving at the threshold of future. It is therefore, the most crucial and decisive moment. All our future (socio-politico-religio) hinges on the outcome of the talks. If our leaders fail, we all fail. If succeed, we all succeed. We all know that politics decides the fate of a people. Nothing is more serious than deciding the future of a people. Therefore, let us do the best that we can do today.
Prayer is one good thing we all can do today. Therefore, as we pray, let us thank Him with a grateful heart for sustaining and leading us thus far. Let us draw to Him ever nearer. Let us seek His favor more earnestly. Let us ask Him to forgive us our sins and intervene in the Indo-NSCN Political Dialogue. While doing so, Let us totally resign sin opting for holiness. Let us not forget that God’s blessing is far more desirable than any earthly riches. Therefore, let us consecrate ourselves to the Lord so that He may do great things any time now.
As we pray, let the theme:“'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.” (Zechariah 4:6) reverberates in our hearts all the day long.
Remember, this prayer program is mainly for the long-awaited Political Solution. The main prayer items are:
- Confession of our personal sins and National/People’s sins,
- Seeking God’s intervention in the Indo-NSCN dialogue for early solution,
- Prayer for God’s blessing for the Naga Chief Negotiator Th. Muivah and the Indian Interlocutor, R. N. Ravi.
- Prayer for God’s blessing for the Indian Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers.
- Prayer for God’s blessing for the Collective Leadership and Home Authorities of NSCN,
