CFR training prog culminates in Wokha

Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): Five-day Training of Trainers (ToTs) on Community First Responder (CFR) organised by Wokha District Disaster Management Authority (WDDMA) in collaboration with Civil Defense & Home Guards and SDRF, supported by Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority concluded on June 16 at Town Hall, Wokha. In valedictory programme, ADC Wokha, Thavaseelan, IAS, urged the trainees to sensitise the public in their respective areas whatever they have learned or experienced during the training programme so that citizens can timely respond or react in times of any eventualities. He also thanked the team from SDRF and TOTs in assisting the WDDMA in training the volunteers. The function was chaired by EAC, Wokha Vejoyo Swuro, while vote of thanks was proposed by DPD, NSDMA Mercy Kithan.
