CFP under MGNREGA launched in Kohima

Dimapur, May 4 (EMN): The official launching of Cluster Facilitation Project (CFP) under MGNREGA to be implemented in aspirational district Kiphire was held at the web room of MGNREGA Commissionerate in Kohima on May 4.

The CFP was officially launched by Neposo Theluo, commissioner and secretary of Rural Development department, an update from the department stated.

Speaking at the programme, Theluo thanked the senior officers of the department for taking an active role in the successful launching of the CFP programme in the state. The virtual launch programme was chaired by Liboni Humtsoe, director of the Rural Development department.

A brief highlight of the CFP under MGNREGA was shared by Veduzo Sasu, RDO/SNO (CFP).

The programme was attended by officials from the Ministry of Rural Development, thematic experts of both state and district and officials of the North East Initiative Development Agency (Neida).
